Editorial Standards
Transparency is not optional for a site covering cancer research. Here is exactly how we evaluate compounds, grade evidence, and maintain editorial integrity.
Evidence Grading System
Every compound on our platform is scored across five dimensions on a 1-5 scale:
| Dimension | What It Measures | 5 = Very Strong |
|---|---|---|
| Human Evidence | Published data from human clinical trials | Multiple Phase II/III RCTs |
| Animal Evidence | Published data from animal models | Multiple independent replications |
| Mechanism Plausibility | How well the biological mechanism is understood | Fully characterized molecular pathway |
| Safety Profile | Established safety record in humans | Decades of clinical safety data |
| Research Maturity | Overall development stage of the research | Approved drug with ongoing Phase III |
Scores are reviewed quarterly and updated as new research is published. We acknowledge that evidence quality is a spectrum, not a binary.
Language Standards
We maintain strict language guidelines to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance:
We Use
- • "Investigational"
- • "Under study"
- • "Preclinical evidence suggests"
- • "Emerging research indicates"
- • "Adjunctive support"
We Never Use
- • "Cure" or "treatment"
- • "Kills cancer"
- • "Proven to work"
- • "Miracle" or "breakthrough"
- • "Hidden" or "suppressed"
Source Requirements
Every factual claim on Peptides4Cancer must be supported by at least one of:
- Peer-reviewed studies indexed in PubMed or equivalent databases
- FDA or equivalent regulatory agency documentation
- Recognized medical organization guidelines (ASCO, ESPEN, etc.)
- Published clinical trial data from clinicaltrials.gov
We explicitly note when evidence is limited, conflicting, or exclusively from animal models. Acknowledging uncertainty is a feature, not a weakness.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
In the interest of full transparency:
- This website contains affiliate links to product vendors. We may earn a commission from purchases made through these links.
- Affiliate relationships never influence our evidence scores or editorial conclusions. Compounds with affiliate links receive the same rigorous evaluation as those without.
- We do not accept payment for favorable reviews or evidence scores.
- We are not medical professionals. All content is educational and should be verified with qualified healthcare providers.
